This is the PC conversion of the second installment of the successful arcade Ninja Gaiden series. The game is a fairly simple action-oriented, side scroller.

The game plot is set a year after the events chronicled on Ninja Gaiden 1, though the Jaquio and his evil forces have been eliminated, the underworld slowly begins to show signs of life again. This time, under the leadership of "Ashtar" the dark lord who controlled the jaquio and plots to rule the world.
