Description

Bugs Bunny in Double Trouble (Sega Genesis, 1996) is a colorful and cartoon-inspired platformer starring the wise-cracking Looney Tunes icon himself, Bugs Bunny. Developed by Probe Entertainment and published by Sega, the game drops players into a series of wacky worlds based on classic Warner Bros. cartoons.

In this side-scrolling adventure, Bugs hops through levels pulled from his most famous episodes-like "Knighty Knight Bugs" and "Duck! Rabbit, Duck!"-while facing off against a cast of familiar foes, including Daffy Duck, Elmer Fudd, Yosemite Sam, and Marvin the Martian. Each stage is uniquely themed, often with its own gameplay mechanics, puzzles, and hazards straight out of the animated shorts.

Armed with his signature wit-and an arsenal of cartoon-style tools like pies, disappearing ink, and portable holes-Bugs must outsmart enemies and collect items to progress. The game features bright, detailed graphics and captures the slapstick humor and charm of the Looney Tunes universe.

While Bugs Bunny in Double Trouble doesn't reinvent the platforming genre, it's a fun and faithful tribute to one of animation's greatest characters. With its varied levels and nostalgic flair, it's a solid pick for fans of Bugs and classic cartoon antics.
