In Vexx, the people of a once proud planet called Astara have been enslaved by the evil shadowraith, Dark Yabu, and have been imprisoned in caves surrounding the village of Rockhaven. As they toil in back-breaking labor, mining the underground caves for Yabu, a young boy named Vexx is able to escape the horror and make a run for it.
