Ubisoft's expansive life development sim series heads to Nintendo's 3D handheld as young gamers hatch and collect 20 magical animals in Petz Fantasy 3D. Instead of taking care of Catz or Dogz, players nurture and care for exotic and mythical animals, including red pandas, unicorns, and dragons. As always, pet owners must ensure that their creatures are clean, well-fed, and entertained, and the animals will react to the actions gamers take. Once the pets are mature, they can head out into an expansive 3D world where players can teach them new powers through a variety of mini-games. Petz Fantasy 3D also includes augmented reality features, allowing users to unlock new creatures, outfits, and accessories by placing coded cards in front of the 3DS cameras.
