Each character has two different fighting styles plus weapons, and players can switch styles at any point during battle. A character creation system is also included, allowing gamers to make their own Mortal Kombat fighter, even choosing their character?s fighting styles and weapons. Characters can once again execute jumping maneuvers, and a new parry system is also featured. Fatalities have been revamped, too, allowing players to execute their own fatalities. The stages, which include everything from Goro?s Lair from the first game to stages from Mortal Kombat: Deception, once again include death traps and weapons that players can make use of to eliminate their foes. Verses mode, Konquest mode, online battles, extras, and more round out Mortal Kombat: ARMAGEDDON. The game seeks to provide a definitive end to the current generation of Mortal Kombatcharacters and storylines, and with over 60 characters, massive levels, and many different game modes, it?s a very fitting way for these current characters to say goodbye.
