Magician Lord puts you in control of Elta, a wizard who has to retrieve eight books of wisdom from the god of destruction. Power-ups let you transform into characters with different abilities. There are eight areas in the game; each stage appropriately ends with a boss fight. This game took advantage of the Neo Geo's graphical ability.
