The story follows Django, who is confronted by a mysterious Vampire in his hometown of San Miguel. His Gun Del Sol, or solar gun, is stolen, and he's left with a solar glove that he must use to enchant weapons like a sword with the sun's power. With this, he must hunt down the vampire and prevent the Black Dainn from releasing the Eternal, Jormangandr, and thereby destroying the world. Throughout Boktai 2: Solar Boy Django, players meet new characters, solve puzzles, and create more powerful weapons with which to face down enemies.
